BIOGRAPHY

I received my degrees from the undergraduate film school at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and the graduate art department at San Francisco State University. After a very long time making photographs for advertising and editorial clients, I returned to my own work.

Gallery shows in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Nashville, Scottsdale, Phoenix, Santa Fe, Sonoma, Healdsburg, San Diego and Atlanta, and a joint exhibition at the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art entitled, Akin: the Art of Nicole and Marc Katano, have expanded the conversation.

After a sojourn in northern California, I’m very happy to be back in Los Angeles.
